Princess Street Play Area, Brimington – Improvements

To replace a worn out and dated play area with a new modern play space with play equipment for use by all age groups and children with disabilities. Princess Street is the only green space with a play area within easy reach of young people which is vital for their health and well being.
Funding is sought for all the play equipment, safer surfacing and other external works.
The existing play area is over 20 years old, which is becoming unsafe due to its age. The play area is in an area of high density housing where there is a high percentage of children and young people. The play area is situated in an area of high deprivation in the top 30% most deprived wards.
