Priors Marston playground resurfacing

The playground is the only one in the village and is therefore the focal point for all the children in the village. The existing surface is wood chippings surrounded by a timber curb. It is impossible to prevent fouling by animals and the chippings become compacted which reduces their effectiveness.

The proposal is to remove the chippings and and replace them with a wet pour rubberised surfacing. The kerb will also be removed and the edges of the surfacing ramped to allow wheelchair and buggy access.
