Project Outreach Phase 2

The Ansell Community Centre, a grade 2 listed building is situated in the centre of Hadleigh and is owned and maintained by Hadleigh United Reformed Church for the people of Hadleigh with a population of 10,000 people. Following the successful completion of phase 1 in 2010, a questionnaire was issued to all 19 user groups to identify the priorities for future development. The priorities identified were to improve the entrance and domestic facilities including the toilets and catering facilities. The toilets and the kitchen are in a critical condition and their rebuild is essential if the Ansell Centre is to continue to serve the community groups with restricted resources and those who are isolated in the community.
