Project Puffin

Provision of non invasive public access to Craigleith puffin colony to view and monitor the return of puffins following the complementary ' Save Our Puffins' project. Solar powered cameras and microphones will be installed on the island and live sound and images shown and controlled within the nearby Scottish Seabird Centre. Live images will also be available on the internet to allow a global audience to see the return of the puffins without disturbing them. Other animals will also be seen including guillemots, razorbills, shags, seals and even occasional dolphins and whales.
