Projekts Skatepark, Manchester – Phase 1 & 2 Skate Park Improvements (006341)

The skatepark facilities provide a space for community engagement and development as well as providing a welcoming, safe environment for diverse communities to engage in creative play and physical activity 360 days per year.

This project will expand the skatepark and community and enhance and expand the cafe facilities, including the installation of a viewing deck which will be accessible by lift. The skatepark will be will replaced and extended to create a concrete skating area over a decommissioned road and join the two sides together to make one unified site, increasing both the safety of users and the capacity of the site to meet demand.

Projekts is currently running at capacity and this project will enable it to meet the needs of the community it is serving.
