Proliferating Ponds in the Peak, Phase II

The project involves a programme of pond enhancement, restoration and recreation works designed to enhance the biodiversity of existing pond clusters, to benefit a range of species including Great crested newts. The project will deliver work on 15 ponds, sites will be chosen from a list of 25 identified after initial survey work to establish the most appropriate sites.
