Protection & Monitoring of birdlife at Foulney & South Walney

The aim of this project is to protect and monitor the birdlife and maintain the habitat for biodiversity mainly at Foulney Island and South Walney Nature Reserves.

A lesser amount of habitat management will take place at Eskmeals Dunes and Next Ness Nature Reserves.

The practical work will directly deliver objectives in the Cumbria BAP for coastal habitats and associated wildlife, in particular, seabird colonies.
