Provision of a computerised records system at Egham Museum, Egham, Surrey

The project seeks funding for the provision of a computerised records system at Egham Museum in Surrey facilitating easier and faster access to information for all who visit. The existing paper based system, comprising approximately 15,000 photographs and 40,000 information cards, is long overdue for replacement.
The Museum which is run entirely by volunteers, is a valuable educational asset providing both the local community and visitors to the historic Borough of Runnymede with the opportunity to learn, discover and explore local history and heritage.
Specifically the project will involve the provision and installation of 5 computer terminals and associated equipment.
