Provision of a Multi Use Games Area & Youth Shelter

Our aim is to provide an area for games to be played all year round in a purpose built safe (polymeric type 4 surface) environment, alongside the MUGA we will be providing a Youth Shelter. The MUGA will be accessible to all local people 365 days a year for casual play. We will be working with our local primary school to provide free use for netball, football, athletics and other sports when required by the school. After 5pm during the week, the facility will be bookable by sports clubs and groups, with priority given to under 16’s groups who will pay £10 per hour and adult groups who will pay £20 per hour. We aim to provide floodlighting when funds become available, which will be a separate project. There will be absolutely no restriction whatsoever on the access to, or use of the Youth Shelter.
