Provision of a new heating system for Ruspidge Memorial Hall

The project is to provide a modern and energy efficient heating system to Ruspidge Memorial Hall to provide a more comfortable environment for users. This is a 1923 stone built hall, with upper and lower rooms which are heated by wall mounted radiant electric heaters (upper room) and an old gas heater (lower room). The electric heaters are expensive to run and provide no background heat throughout the cold months of the year and they cannot be regulated. It is hoped that a more comfortable environment will encourage more regular use of the hall by local residents. It will also help preserve the fabric of the building by discouraging cold and particularly damp conditions, to which the hall is subject.
