Provision of a quality cricket environment

Our overall project is to offer the best cricket provision possible to the whole community.

As an accredited Clubmark Club, only 1 of 5 cricket clubs in N. Ireland, we are seen as one of the most pro-active in Ireland, with the largest coaching staff (12 qualified volunteer coaches) and serve the whole community, promoting cricket to a continually widening audience.

With high participation rates we need to offer quality surfaces to play on, matching the quality of other club areas. We need to purchase 3 pieces of equipment to provide safer, improved surfaces.
Our volunteer groundsmen use 20 year old, unreliable equipment which are now operating inadequately and hindering us.
Equipment required :-
1. Ride on gang cutter for cutting outfield to a suitable and even length on a regular basis.
2. Pedestrian cutter to create a low even cut for cricket wickets. ( Machine also has cartridges for brushing and scarifying. )
3. Pedestrian spiker to improve aeration, drainage and promote grass growth.
