Provision of a sports and amenity area at Weston sub Edge

The Parish Council owns a field which it plans to convert into a sports and amenity area for the benefit of the village. Currently the field is of limited value, since it requires draining, leveling and landscaping to provide a suitable area. Further projects such as seating, picnic facilities and a small playground area for pre-school children will be undertaken as funding becomes available to further enhance the overall area. This will provide an environmentally sensitive public area with free access available to all.
