Provision of Renewable Energy Heating at Topsham Community Swimming Pool

Topsham Outdoor Pool is heated to a comfortable 28. In the past, this was achieved with a combination of gas and solar panels. Unfortunately, the defunct solar panels, which had been in place for many years, were removed in 2014, leaving the pool with no renewable element. The aim is to supply the pool with a replacement renewable solar thermal system to supplement the gas boilers. The ambition is to cut the substantial gas usage and annual expenditure, reduce the carbon footprint, and set an environmental example to the community by sharing knowledge and practice.
