Public Aircraft Viewing Platform

The Community Council proposes to create a safe view area (on local authority land) for the public to watch aircraft activity at RAF Kinloss, a local maritime operational base. At the moment spectators gather on the public road close to the end of the runway which we consider to be a safety hazard and sadly a child was fatally injured in this location in 1998. The project includes the provision of access paths (wheelchair accessible) and a rain shelter within the fenced off viewing area
