Pucklechurch Community Centre

The Pucklechurch Community Association (PCA) aims to support the community by running the Pucklechurch Community Centre (PCC) in sustainable and responsible ways. This amenity is vital to the community in providing a meeting place and resources for a diverse (in age, gender, ability, interests and social situation) range of groups in the area. This not only makes the village a more pleasant environment but also contributes to greater social cohesion which extends beyond the boundaries of the village. The aim of this project is to replace the lighting systems within the PCC for more energy efficient alternatives. Any saving in the PCC running costs can then be put back into other areas needing improvement. Thus making the PCC more financially sustainable as an organisation as well as reducing the impact of its energy requirement on the planetary environment.
