Pudsey in Bloom – Leisure Centre Garden

Pudsey in Bloom was formed in May 2003 and currently looks after various sites around Pudsey as well as a number of troughs, planters and baskets. The project involves creating an attractive garden area on neglected land adjacent to Pudsey Leisure Centre. The work will include clearing all the debris, rubbish and dead vegetation, flagging around the edge of the area, providing new topsoil, planting a mixture of trees, shrubs and plants to provide year round colour and coverage, and finishing with a layer of bark chippings to suppress weed growth.
