Purchase of land at Upton Ham SSSI

The Trust is looking to purchase approximately 2 hectares of unimproved flood meadow at Upton Ham SSSI to add to the 5.22 hectares the Trust already owns at the site. Upton Ham SSSI is a rare unimproved hay meadow managed in a traditional manner and is the largest example of this type of meadow still remaining in Worcestershire. It supports a number of rare species including nationally scare flora and buying the land will protect it for the future. The Trust will continue to manage the hay meadow traditionally to support the unique flora and fauna found there
