Purchase of Littleton river meadow

An exciting opportunity has arisen to purchase and conserve this locally important river meadow near our existing sites at Offenham and North Littleton. This 10 acre meadow is still being managed as a traditional flood meadow and as such has been identified as a Special Wildlife Site by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. It is considered to be the best example of a flood meadow along the Avon in private ownership and contains many plant species now scarce in the area. VLHT propose to purchase the site and continue with the traditional management.
