Puxton Moor – Biodiversity Project

To undertake rhyne and gateway enhancement works to benefit the wetland biodiversity interest of the Nature Reserve. This will be achieved by ditch and rhyne reprofiling, scrub removal and the reconstruction of culveted gateways which will enable colonisation of nationally notable wetland plant and invertebrate species, restoration of nationally important Biodiversity Action Plan habitat, and the establishment of a more sustainable grazing regime benefiting grassland habitat and farmland birds
