Quaker Meeting House, Harpenden – Improvements (2951/D)

The project aims to make it more attractive and energy efficient, to serve existing users better and to attract new groups into the building on a regular or occasional basis. The new entrance and lobby will be more welcoming, with wider doors for wheelchair users, and a new corridor will give ready access to all rooms and facilities. Two meeting rooms will be remodelled and an extension to the rear will provide more circulation space with wheelchair access to the lovely garden.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the improvements of the Quaker Meeting House.
