Quarriers Village Playpark Project

Quarriers Village has some 710 residents with 55 school age children and around 15 preschool children. (Figures from 2006).

Although there is a lot of green space in the village there is not a single swing, let alone a purpose built play park for children to play on.
This project will provide a purpose built playpark with equipment that will allow disabled children to play alongside able bodied children.
We have designed and costed our project and we are aiming to raise around £60,000 which will provide £27K worth of equipment. The other £33K will be taken up with Groundworks, safe surfacing and fencing.
We aim to begin groundworks in May, with the playpark open for use in Late August.
