Quarry Bank Bandstand Restoration, Friends of Stevens Park Quarry Bank, Nr Brierley Hill, West Midlands

This is a project to renovate the bandstand in Stevens Park, which is the focal point and centrepiece of the park. It is also a building of historic importance in the locality. In recent years the cast iron panels, which were an attractive feature, have been severely damaged and need to be replaced. The project also includes the placement of iron gates which have been lost. The intention of the project is to restore the building so that it can be continue to be used for band concerts and other events which are greatly appreciated and enjoyed by the local community.
