Quarry Regeneration to Tourist Attraction on the Smugglers Paths

Development of the derelict quarry area into a tourist attraction. To include, picnic area, wildlife refuge and an area of peace and tranquillity. The quarry is situated in the collenan reservoir area along side of the smugglers path network in south ayrshire. This has been developed so as to enhance the surrounding countryside and give an amenity of something that up to now is no more than an ‘eye sore’ and detracts from the smugglers path network.
