Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Wood Welcome Hub

The project will improve the visitor experience by creating a timber framed Welcome Hub to orientate and engage visitors. The Hub will provide:
• Shelter, a meeting point for groups and secure storage for tools for volunteer activities.
• Information on walking routes
• Details of the history of the site, the changing landscape and species
• Links to other opportunities to enjoy woods in the area.
21 information panels will be designed and installed along with two dry wipe boards to advertise events or record wildlife sightings.
