Ragpath Wood – Ancient Woodland Restoration

Ragpath Wood is a prominent 31.80ha planted ancient woodland site dominating the the hillside looking down into Esh Winning. This project aims to restore this site to its ancient woodland glory by slowly felling the conifers, opening up the canopy and allowing light to the ground and allowing healthy ground flora and vegetation to flourish.
