Raise the roof 2013

Our intention is to replace the entire roof of a Grade II listed church building with material sympathetic to the original design and construction but without lead. We have received a grant from The Heritage Lottery Fund which will cover most of the external work and we are now raising the remainder of the capital outlay. We are taking this opportunity to instal roof insulation and to further reduce our energy consumption we plan to install LED interior lighting. In this respect we have been offered a grant of £7,500.00 from The Lancashire Environmental Fund.
