Rams Island Heritage Project

Overall aim is to restore and care for natural and built heritage of Rams Island through careful and appropriate conservation work, including predator and invasive species control and landmark tree maintenance and the development and implementation of a biodiversity plan for the island. Funding is sought towards the development of an interpretation centre for the island. This will be done using a converted barge to prevent damage to the biodiversity of the island. Barge is moored at Lough Neagh.
