Ravensbourne Restoration

Increase the diversity of macro-invertebrates by increasing the channel morphological variability in non-culvert sections by changing and varying the depth by way of moving river bed soil, which does not affect the flood risk but does introduce varying flows along the section.

This project will increase the ecological potential of part of the River Ravensbourne that runs through a highly populated area of Lewisham, through the use of in channel enhancements.
