Rawtenstall Cricket Club – Pavilion Update

Update the pavilion with new plumbing, electrics, showers, disabled access, redecoration and flooring.
Redecoration of the changing rooms and new flooring and sanitary ware will make a substantial improvement to the aesthetic of the facility for Rawtenstall CC Cricketers and the numerous opposition junior and senior cricketers which amounts to over 500 unique users of the changing facilities every year.
They’ll improve seating showers and toilets to increase comfort and improve the lighting to make the pavilion building more user friendly.
New heating systems will improve the comfort of the showers and alongside new windows & doors will make the changing rooms more comfortable on colder days.
Cricketers playing from age 5. 40% of those within the 3 senior XIs are British Muslim, needing more private changing facilities. Current changing facilities lack disability access. Life expectancy child obesity indicators are below the national average – this can be addressed through sport.
