Rayleigh Town Council

The project aims to provide a canopy to offer shade from the sun in the young children’s play area in King George V Playing Field, Rayleigh. The project will also include one dual recycling bin and a picnic bench. The Town Council has received several requests from parents and schools for a shaded area to be provided in the playing field. It is common practice now for schools to provide shaded area for sun protection when children are outside and this is normally in the form of a freestanding canopy or pagoda.
