Re-assembling and Restoration of a 1920s Wooden Holiday Chalet

To re-assemble and restore a wooden holiday chalet that dates back to 1920 which was donated to 2 years ago as part of the collection of old and new buildings. It was recovered from Boxhill and transported to the Museum where it will be restored. It will become an integral part of our education programme for children and adults showing how people in the 1920s took holidays in the country before the days of modern holiday chalets.
