Re-lighting Poole's Cavern, Buxton

This project will replace the electrical wiring system in Poole's Cavern, Buxton, to comply with modern safety standards, providing a new, dramatic lighting system based on low energy, high power LED technology. The new lighting system will enhance the visual impact of the limestone formations in the Cavern, reduce the impact of artificial light on the microclimate, increase interpretative flexibility and reduce operating costs.
