Re Place

The Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust (FODST) plans launching a major new commissioning programme for the Sculpture Trail. The decommissioning of the renowned sculpture ‘Place’ by Magdelena Jetelova provides a valuable opportunity to celebrate the programme’s commencement.

‘Re Place’, led by the Trust in partnership with the Forestry Commission England will commission artists of outstanding potential to create, at significant times in their careers, strikingly original and innovative responses to the Forest.

‘Re Place’ will enhance the profile of the FODST as a nationally recognised, pioneering location for sculpture, that increases audiences by enriching their experience of The Forest.
