Realm of the Red Ape

Realm of the Red Ape will be a new home for the critically endangered Orang Utan at Chester Zoo. The exhibit will provide improved facilities ensuring the highest standard of animal welfare. The building will be themed around the Asian forest with native plants and smaller indigenous animal species. Integrated within this will be an education programme to highlight conservation issues. The faciliies will enhance the existing experience for our 1 million visitors as it will be fully accessible to all
