Rebuilding Brant Broughton & Stragglethorpe Village Hall

To rebuild the Village Hall replacing the existing ex RAF timber building acquired in 1921 which contains asbestos and is beyond economical renovation. The hall is well supported and self sufficient financially, used almost every day by local organisations and events held in the evenings throughout the year. It provides a vital focal point for villagers, a place for people of all ages to meet and engage. This is more and more vital since the closure of the village post office and during the prolonged closure of the village which has only recently reopened.
