Rebuilding the Bure Valley

Re-connect and restore wetland habitats in the Bure Valley Living Landscape in the Norfolk Broads. Work will be based at Norfolk Wildlife Trust nature reserves at Upton Broad and Marshes, Ranworth Broad and South Walsham Marshes and will include: creating scrapes and flashes, clearing and reprofiling dykes and foot drains, installing water control structures to increase and monitor water levels and restoring and managing large areas of fen and grazing marsh.
