Reconnecting the River Laver

The first phase of a project which aims to restore a length of the River Laver to good ecological status by removing a weir, which is broken and eroded and restoring the natural profile of the river. The project will ensure community engagement via creating of steering group, volunteer led monitoring programme and organising River Discovery events. Young people will be engaged through development of educational resource pack and practical workshops.
