Recycling Awareness Raising in West Slough

The Community Recyclig Officer is working across Slough to increase residents understanding and participation in local recycling schemes. This funding will allow in depth work with residents in West Slough across a week through a ‘door-stepping’ project using local people as recycling champions. The Recycling Champions hope to increase participation in both kerbside collection and green waste schemes. The funding will also allow the Community Recycling Officer to work with schools in the Borough to take the recycling message to young people and also to hold open workshops in the local library and other venues as requested to offer further recycling information to residents
