Red Squirrel Recovery Project

Consolidation and expansion of existing red squirrel strongholds in the North of England through strategic and sustainable, landscape-scale, grey squirrel control; and support, co-ordination and training for volunteers and landowners across the project area. The project will protect existing red squirrel populations and improve landscape and habitat (through removing grey squirrels) to increase their numbers and range.
