Reducing our Carbon Footprint and Renovation

By reducing our carbon footprint, we will reduce our energy usage which will enable the trustees to keep hire charges at a manageable level for everyone, which is important in the current financial climate.
Our project involves:
• Replacing the remaining 14 windows with UPVC Double Glazed units
• Replacing existing ceiling and replacing with a new ceiling to enable insulation to be installed
• Reconfigure the toilets to provide 3 able-bodied all gender toilets with their own wash basins.
• Create a new all-gender accessible toilet which will include baby changing
• Create a new much needed storage area
• Create a new door and corridor to link the Jubilee Room and Main Hall
• Re-wiring and installing new LED lighting
• New external entrance doors
• Renovation work to Parquet Floor
• Decoration
