Reeds, Rushes and Redshanks - Prestwick Carr

This project aims to undertake habitat restoration and recreation work to help return water to this wet woodland site, in order to alleviate flooding and to benefit a wide range of wetland species. A lasting legacy of improved water courses and sustainable habitats will also provide an ideal location for the reintroduction of water voles within their former range and a key public engagement site for raising awareness around wetland issues.
