Refurbishing and extending Chapter Arts Centre

The project will extend, improve and refurbish Chapter Arts Centre, an eductional charity and public amenity in Canton, Cardiff. The project will enhance the visitor and user experience by refurbishing and extending public community spaces for artistic, educational and out reach activity. The redevelopment will specifically: improve and expand by 40% the centre’s public concourse (public meeting space ) currently used by 500,000 local people each year; change Chapter’s entrances to make them more accessible and more visible, refurbish the cinemas and theatre; improve energy efficiently; and refurbishment existing workshop and event rooms for community groups to use.
