Refurbishing the Woodfield Pavilion, Project 1

To create an upstairs room in the roofspace of the Woodfield Pavilion for meetings and other uses. This will enable volunteers to offer a wider range of activities at the pavilion. The wider aims for the refurbished pavilion are: • as a community hub for recreation and leisure activities; • to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the built and natural environment on the Woodfield Recreational Ground in particular and on the Tooting Commons in general; • to support education (such as forest schools) and training (in green skills) in that open space; and • to ensure the long-term legacy of the Tooting Common Heritage Project.
