Refurbishment of 24th Ipswich Scout Group Head Quarters

We are undertaking the complete refurbishment of the Scout hall in order to make it sustainable and viable for the long term future. The headquarters was built twenty three years ago with little insulation or thought to energy efficiency. We are starting a refurbishment programme that will aim to make the building warmer and brighter. We aim to insulate the walls and roof throughout, replace the electric radant heaters with Air Conditioning Heat pumps. Renew all wooden external doors. We will also refurbish disabled ramps to modern standards, improving access for all. Also install hot water to sinks in toilets and kitchen.
