Refurbishment of Artificial Turf Pitch

The Club originally laid down its artificial turf pitch in 1995 and the surface is now becoming worn and is deteriorating quickly. It needs to be replaced to ensure playing standards and safety are maintained.
The project involves removing the old sand filled carpet and shockpad, providing a new shockpad and modern sand dressed synthetic carpet. Alongside this work, which will be carried out to a specialist contractor, the Club will be carrying out a full self-help refurbishment of the stadium, surrounding areas and adjacent changing rooms.
The ATP is very much the cornerstone of the Club’s facilities and if it were lost the whole Club would be in jeopardy. Its replacement is therefore fundamental to this much valued community sports club which provides facilities for football, hockey, tennis, bowls, archery and a social centre for .Horbury and the surrounding areas.
