Refurbishment of Barrow Upon Trent Village Hall

Originally the project approval was for replacement windows and front door, new kitchen flooring and removal of stage. Following further investigation of the stage area there are concerns that damage to the floor below is much worse than anticipated and beyond the financial resources available to the Hall Committee. Alternative improvements works have been identified – replacement kitchen units, replacement flooring for toilets, replacement fire door and redecoration and replacement of toilet fittings. The project description therefore requires amendment to remove the reference to the stage and include these other elements.
