Refurbishment of Church hall

In 2018, we recognised that the hall needed major refurbishment; the first since being built. Initially we thought this was roof refelting, but an Architect’s report said the unsound structure needs complete replacement. This phase also includes the ceiling, insulation, flooring and lighting to meet environmental standards. Other safety work and Disabled toilets were installed in 2020/21. Further work will be done in the next phases of the refurbishment, including kitchen and windows.

The funding will be used to pay for a new roof, ceiling and insulation and for replacement LED lighting. This includes replacement of the roof above the toilets, small meeting room, kitchen and fire exit
