Refurbishment of Goodwood Park

The renewal of the Goodwood Park area will provide an essential north-south green link between two disparate residential communities in Moulsecoomb. The creation of the three new zones of formal play facilities for Young Play, 6-12 year olds and teenagers will give the area, a clear hierarchy of uses that will turn this valuable resource into a community asset. In addition the whole park renewal will be promoted as an education opportunity with schools and local residents through linked programmes for young people in landscape design, woodland treatment and ecology.
