Refurbishment of hall toilets, St. Peter’s Church

To completely strip out our old existing Main Hall toilets and storeroom which have been described by one user as ‘desperately in need of replacing’. The walls, which are bare brick in places, will be plaster boarded and skimmed/lined/decorated as necessary. A drop ceiling and new lighting will be installed.
The female toilets will have 3 toilet cubicles.
There will also be a unisex accessible toilet with baby change unit, and 1 male toilet cubicle.
All facilities will be equipped with hand wash basins, electric hand dryers, panel wall heaters and extractor fans.
Taps which turn off automatically and PIR sensors will be used to avoid waste.

The lobby area between the two toilet areas will be redecorated and rewired. Because of the age of the building we need a large contingency fund.
Our aim is to improve the facilities for all our hall users and to make provision for people with disabilities in our wider community.
