Refurbishment of Hope Chapel

The purchase and refurbishment of Hope Chapel, Merthyr Tydfil to restore it as a place of worship for a local church as well as a community centre, meeting place and concert venue. There are a number of local bodies and schemes that have indicated their intention to use the building (e.g Methyr Street Pastors, Barnardos, Dowlais Forum, Dowlais Male Voice Choir, local drama club). In addition it will be used for local childrens holiday clubs and for a Mother and Toddlers group.

We intend that the building will be brought back into community use and have plans for its use as a legal/debt counselling centre as well as night classes (Spanish, Maths).
